Evaluation question 4

How did you use new media technologies in the construction and research, planning and evaluation stages.

Evaluation question 3

What have you learnt from your audience feedback

Evaluation Question 2

How Affective is the combination of your main product and ancillary task.

 Digi Pack

Poster
Music Video

The combination of my main product and ancillary tasks are very affective because, as it is clear from the images and screen grabs above that there is an obvious style that is apparent through all of my products, the quite gloomy rustic cool derelict feel. The fonts are all the same throughout my digipack and poster , as are the images to keep the conventions the same. Although the images differ, it is clear to see that they were all taken during the the music video shooting at the derelict buildings, this keeps the same style and doesn't add any randomness to my tasks.

The colors which occur within all my tasks are all very similar also, there are lots of dim grey colors and there are a lot of parts in my video and poster and digipack that are dark and dim, so again there is a clear continuity and fluency throughout all of my tasks, in my feedback i was told that i could perhaps use some images from the second half of my video as it gets brighter and is more focused on the smiles and the beach.

Here i have also included the "lil wayne" album cover which was part of my inspiration for the black and white dreary album cover. Maverick Saber is not such a dark rapper than most of the rappers that have similar posters or album covers but his music and character and the cloths he wears are still very gangster and aggressive.

Ancillary Task

I feel that my digi pack and poster follow the conventions of the generic  music video publication posters, i wanted to include everything that i have seen on the major  music company posters.
I preferred this final piece becuase ti also follows the general conventions of a digi pack , with the close up of the Artist, the simplistic dingy back grounds and the bold texts.

Construction

So i started looking at different effects and cut shots  . The cut shots took a while to perfect because it can look quite shaky and unprofessional, i found editing the clips to go with the music worked better and seemed like it was meant to be in the vid.
Adding em-burns to my video brought a different                                                                                                                   aspect to my video, i feel it looks a bit more professional

More ideas and actors !

I have decided to have a very large number of actors of all ages and sex's. this will obviously be a lot harder to accomplish but i feel lie it fits well with how my video will end. I have made a rig that attaches to the best and holds the camera in a position to get a shot of the face, this will be attached to all of my actors as they walk around and do the different task i have set for them as they lip sink. I will still have a main character that starts of the song but after that the characters will change.

I am going to try and achieve a shot where the actor is walking down a lane, i will then swap the rig o another actor at the same position and carry on filming, if i can pull that off then that is how i will film the best part of my video.

I have recruited
4 males from my school.
3 females from a girls college.
1 mother.
1 father.
1 middle aged sister.
1 lead guitarist from a local band.
